Kathrin has facilitated workshops and performance projects for performers, students, children, young people and adults in diverse communities and contexts such as schools, universities, theatres, mental health settings and prisons. Her work covers the areas of creative writing, physical theatre/creative dance, improvisation, storytelling and directing. The main focus of Kathrins educational work is trauma, criminal justice, community regeneration, cultural intervention and integration.

She is currently working as a mentor at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (Applied Theatre), coaching the MA students with their final projects. She was associate lecturer for London University of the Arts (Creativity Matters) and has worked as a guest lecturer for Education at the Institute of Music and Theatre Management at Ludwig Maximilians-Universität München.


She has worked as a devisor/director and workshop facilitator for Eastside Educational Trust (London), Concrete Canvas Arts (London), Schaubühne Berlin (DE), P.A.T.H. (programme for arts, therapy and health, UK), Wise Moves Ltd (UK), Theatre Royal Bath (UK), Amabadelo (Liverpool), Merseyside Young People's Theatre (Liverpool), Street League (London), Creative Partnerships (UK), Tuchlaube Aarau (CH), Dampfzentrale Bern (CH), Schlachthaus Theater Bern (CH), Science et Cité (CH), Traffo/Carré Rotondes (LUX), Klubszene Festival Berlin (DE) and the International Forum/Theatertreffen Berlin (DE).

Additionally to that, she ran the Drama Workhouse youth theatre (London) for five years and co-directed 'Creative Skills 4 Life', an OCN accredited performance project for vulnerable adults run by the Drama Workhouse and St Giles Trust in Camberwell. She has run the same course at the juvenile units at HMPrison Downview and HMPrison Hunterscombe. She has been course tutor for Escape Artists (London), designing and delivering two OCN accredited programs: Arts Practitioners: Working with Vulnerable Groups in the Criminal Justice System and An introduction to working with the Arts in the CJS to artists, social workers and project managers.
